As for when, I hope is 2nd, 3rd, 4th October 2009 na. But dunno hui rush anot leh...
Coz 2nd oct tat night would be the BBQ night.

So I need help on FOOD!!!
Need to buy simi food?!? I didnt go BBQ before, or perhaps, i rarely go BBQ, so dunno where to buy food, and buy simi type of food.

Hey people, Jas just now sms me and say that her poly friend and her own group of secondary school friends went to crave a ring each with their names. So the idea of it is actually great. Fang also agreed with it and is excited by the thought. Haha! Ah ma has also agreed to it...

Anyway, i think it would be memorable for us. Reason being:
-Especially when we are turning 21 this year.
-All of you are graduating this year.
-This is the 6th year of our friendship. 所谓六六大顺！Hope that our friendship will be smooth sailing for the next 6 years and the next 6 years and the next 6 years...

Just got the most updated news: Ah ma shall sponsor all of us. Muahaha! JKJK. (Ah ma, i love you wallet wholeheartedly.)

But well, since we getting the GST offset, we should be able to use a portion of it on the ring. The decision, still lies with all of you. So i won't force anyone.

Ok people, since Alina wants something overnight and KY is booking a chalet... so i think we can cancel the BBQ. So don't ask me to sponsor anything le hor...

KY will discuss about the dates via the blog, so do check the blog for updates. But she decided to plan around June. I ain't sure if i can make it. Maybe i shall share my academic calendar with you all for AY2009/2010. Some changes being made as compared to previous years...

I guess no one will care, but nonetheless, i shall still post it... Vacation i should be free, but weekdays maybe took up by FYP so, i can't confirm. The best is have it around Fri night or Sat night, depending on how many days you want it to be...

BBQ Gathering...

Hey, i have this idea in mind for quite long le... Since i have asked alina and it seems that time is too tight for a gathering to happen this week, due to many reasons. Especially when it is the most crucial moment for many of you...

Thus, i have this idea which is to hold a BBQ party for all of you to celebrate the graduation of all of you... I shall organise this time round, since it is my idea and i wish to celebrate with you all, as i wouldn't be able to make it for the graduation day of most of you or in fact all of you.

Ok, so i ain't sure when you all are free. So tell me when you all are free during MARCH/APRIL WEEKENDS. So that i can book a pit, i guess east coast is ok with all ba... I am interested in booking pit C29 but it seems popular, so we have to get somewhere else lor... But most importantly is tell me when you all are free, then i can view the available pits on that day...

The pit cost $16, so since i am the one who want to celebrate for you all, i can sponsor the pit. But not the others things hor!!! ONLY THE PIT HUH!

In addition, this time round, i hope that more can be involved in the planning. Like i plan the party, inform people, see to the pit thing. Others can plan about food, things needed/to bring, games session, someone plan to cook! LOL! So in a way it can be more fun, cos i ain't very good in planning the other stuff and there is a lot of work involved. I also have to see to my holiday module and my FYP... And everyone take up something is good ma. Must shoulder some work load ma...

Ok, i know it won't be cheap to organise this, since there isn't a lot of people. But well, i guess it is much cheaper than the total cost of an average outing- K Box cum Dinner... So just save up, ok?

Hello girls!

Happy 2009 everyone! This is the first post i made in 2009. It's been really a long time since I have upload a post here already. haha. So how's everyone? i know we are all busy in our school life. Been struggling ? Hang on there ! Life's never easy. We must learn to enjoy it some ways or another. hahas.

Chinese new year is around the corner, so take a break; have a mandarin orange ! hahas. =D

Stepping to 09, we are soon going on a another phrase of life..haiz.. we are all turning 21 real soon. Have to wave goodbye to the "teenagers" we are used to called. Btw, just some random stuff, my neighbour's cat was sick, i supposed as she was brought to the vet... Didn't see it came of our the house for its usual routine "walk"... But saw her outside for a while today and she seems well... LOL! =) So happy to see her well again!

Another random thought, i decide to sign off with 黑白猫 now, instead of my usual ones... There is 小白、小黄狗... So i shall call myself 黑白猫, LOL! Just a side note, i do love dogs also, especially Jack Russell Terrier! LOL! =)

Hi, how are you all getting on? Those having holidays? Those having attachment? Those having FYP?

I'm getting very tired daily, no more Wednesdays to sleep and do notes and study for my tests. T_T In the morning it was raining, the weather is so bad for travelling but so good to sleep on... And tomorrow have test... OMG! When my friends ask me questions i still dunno, omg, i really have to go home and revise hard.

But conclusion is the more you face a particular subject, the more you hate it. This is true for me, for science...But i should be glad that at least it is science not MATH!!!

Shall share something with you all regarding my core specialization, A372-Pharmaceutical Legislation and Marketing... Here's introducing this book... Don't be deceive, it is not named as "Pharmacist Code of Ethics". It is just that the 1st few pages of the book is about "Pharmacist Code of Ethics". It is just a rojak book, compiled with different acts and regulations, including the major acts: Medicine Acts, Medicine (Sale and Advertising) Act, Misuse of Drug Act, Sale of Drug Act, Poison Act. These acts are from http://statutes.agc.gov.sg/. Don't be shocked to find the various poly's Acts in it...
Look at how thick it is...
Took one of the deserted book and when i opened the book, to my dismay...
I found a piece of tissue paper in it... The book is so thick and so wordy that people have to use something to mark the page they need to use, but why... USED tissue paper???

Oh ya, why i have to grab any book that i saw deserted? Cos there is only 2 books to a group! Luckily, on that day there were only 4 groups, so 2 extra books. So must be fast in snatching... I always lose out lor... See only till yesterday then i finally got to take pictures of it...

I mean what i said this time round. I think everyone should take turns to organise outings. My life is getting more and more miserable! When everything is confirm and i am looking forward to outings, someone suggest something else, e.g. why not change to something else? Biggest problem is the food. I compromise with you people, who compromise with me, huh? Compromise with you all still have to bottle up my feelings.

Changes to plan? It is still me who inform everyone of the changes. I exceed my SMS limit, who cares? When some people care so much about exceeding their SMS limit... If you said i haven't done enough and should not be grumbling here , ask yourself these questions:

1. Were you the one who said "anything, whatever, i go with the majority..." and out of the blue moon, you tell me,
"hey, why not we eat else where, huh?"
"erm, i think i am not going, cos i don't feel like eating there"...
Just to mentioned, i am quite clear that i have yet cause a big problem at any of the outing organised by you people.
Only twice, where i ps ah ma, cos i really am tired after my school's orientation...
And another was alina, it was when i had to work and can't change get an off day.
But you told me about ther outing very last minute TOO.
Why can't you all voice out your unhappiness at the very start??? Don't you think that voicing out at the very last minute adds on to my stress???

2. Were you the one who complain a lot about $, about travelling... how sian it is to travel?
Who don't spend $ during the outings?
Who don't travel to get to the outing place?
Isn't that VERY UNFAIR of you to say that?
Sorry that i may have step on your Achilles' heel, but that's the truth.
真话难听，好人不易当。
Just to mentioned, i also very sian leh, must listen to your grumbles. Imagine 1 person grumble, a lot of the others will grumble too.
你不爱听我还是要讲，设身处地为他人想想！

Sometimes, i feel very stupid, it is as if i am begging people to attend.
好像没有你，我会死。
但实际上，在这世界，没有任何的一个人会因为少了谁而活不成。

I know that it is hard to organise something for a big group of people. But i had tried my best and i am a failure cos every single time i organise something i have to grumble to someone or post my grumbles at a blog post.

Also, i am VERY GRATEFUL to those who have 超高配合率. Everytime there is outing, i will receive your almost immediate positive reply and i will see you there as usual. 因为你们的超高配合率，我愿意迁就你们。你们是我每次组办活动的源动力。

Thank you ah ma for listening to my grumbles, i organise some more then my life will be very kan kor. Thank you ah ma whom will be ok with everything as long as there is meat, except beef... =)

Ah ma suggesting BBQ and it seems a new experience for us. But i understand that it is a rush to plan a BBQ now. So i am thinking we can have it in the next holidays like the long holidays. At least we can have more time to plan.

However, i have no idea how to plan BBQ. So someone have to help or if possible, do the job. I may just be the one informing about the dates and all.

Venue can be at East Coast or West Coast. East Coast is rather good from my recent class gathering. C-29 pit is a good one, its near the water breaker, the bicycle and roller skate renting shop, washroom, provision shop. Renting of pit @ East Coast is $16 for both weekdays and weekends, as told by my classmate.

Food i guess it is better to get catering, as we do not have to spend time to shop for food. Furthermore, marinating the food is no easy job. And it is an important component for the BBQ-ed food to taste nice. The catering will be quite expensive, of course. We catered from BBQ Wholesale the other time, cos we want it halal. If you all are interested about the prices can go to these few sites for the 10 pax: (but i am not sure by then will they still have such packages)

My suggestion is that we can take the basic package. And if you all want, can add on. But the add on is of course more expensive than that of the package. But if its only a little, its ok, i guess... Their otah is superb! =) LOL!

Next, for the K Box lovers. When are you all free for a K Box session? I bet all of you have been waiting, but no one wants to organise... --||| Ok, this time is the same old woman doing the saigang job of organising...

I am interested in having a cheaper but worth the price dinner. I suggest HK cafe. Since ky is not interested in Sakura. Seems hard to get all the 8 to come out for another gathering... But, it's ok.

Wow... hahas... that sure was a great surprise to ying.. is always a wonderful feeling to bump into old friends once in a while. somemore is 8 at a go.. haaa...

To me, if i had met one friend unexpectedly in one day, i would be surprise n feel warming. This kind of feeling sometimes will last throughout the day, at least haha.. give me "power-ups" bahh.. at least i know that day shall be different from other typical days.. hahas.. If whom i bump into is a person i detest, it would affect my mood that day too. arghh.

I do sometimes wish that i would bump into some people which i had long time didnt see them.... is good to know how they r getting.. but oh well.. maybe "yuan fen" already pass bahh.. so some people are probably not fated for us to meet again in our lives..

OK, nothing to blog right? Maybe i blog about something bah...

For those who had been to my blog and read my post yesterday, you would have know that i met lots of people yesterday. This is definitely something which i have yet to encounter before for the 2 semesters i have spent in RP... For those of you who have a lot of friends and are all over the school, this is nothing to you people lah... But it is weird for me.

Reached the school late in the morning all thanks to the problem @ Kranji MRT. Anyways, i met 3 of my semester 1 friend. And i didn't bother to say hi, late already worh... But they call me lah, so i did say hi and one of them can tell that i am in a rush of time. What to do? My faci is very particular about time, after 8.30am, i am late and at that time it was already 8.15am and i am still far from my school and let alone my class. They seems to have a good life, their faci aren't that strict.

Next breakout 1, time to have my lunch. I was making way to meet my friend, lp and this person from semester 2 called me and that is the 4th person i met on that morning.

After we decided what to eat, i saw my semester 1 friend after 2 long semester. Last semester, we didn't have the chance of meeting up at all. And for this semester, this is the 1st time i met her. I was shocked and so happy, too enthusiastic at that time...

After settling down and was half way through my Nasi Lemak, i saw my semester 1 Cognitive faci and i waved hi to him. Next, i saw my semester 2 Culture faci queuing at the Nasi Lemak stall in front of our table and we said hi to him... Then, we chatted a bit.

Lastly, when we decided that we shall be going back to class soon, i saw another of my semester 1 friend.

In total, i have met 8 person in 1 morning! 好巧!

Did you all ever experience such a incident before?

I came across this proverb when i was reading a book which i bought 4 years ago and which i did not seemed to understand what the book is about... Anyway, this is part of the book on the chapter, 孤掌难鸣. The book title is "One Thousand Pieces of Gold" by Adeline Yen Mah.

Anyway, this is the part where her reader wrote to her:

"Remember that no matter how hard you do it, 孤掌难鸣 (clapping with one hand produces no sound). For a relationship to exist between two parties, both have to participate. Many fail to understand this fundamental fact."

Somehow this is what i think we face now. All i can do is to organise gatherings and it is really up to you all to decide if you all want to attend or want to make a point to attend or not. I cannot force anyone... And after organising 3 gatherings, i find that 我已经仁至义尽.

I am glad that many of you make the effort, but some... I don't blame them, they are busy too. But i can see who makes the most effort to bond and who makes the least effort.

The point i am trying to make here at this very moment is, after trying to clap with one hand for long and found out that it is futile, one will eventually stop. Be it that the person is tired or that the person found out that whatever he/she is doing will produce no absolute results, 徒劳无功, the person will stop his/her silly act in the long run...

Something to allow you all to ponder about and think if these makes sense.

Alina wor, it might be really this case... but it could be helped right? Coz at this point of time, we sure have a lot of other stuffs to handle de. Could only say that we each have a different path to go on. That y we meet out when we have the time, that is becoz we dun want to lose contact with each other. We cant be possible to hang out each and everyday just as we do in secondary. So i really wish that all can come out once in a while, chatting. Seeing how's everyone le. Haha.

I am so sick of it! 3 times i plan, 3 times thing cropped up last minute! SO WISHY WASHY! Want or don't want, interested or not can reply at one shot mah... OR maybe a 2 days, but not after a week!

Introducing 2 new members for "The Abnormal Farm"! LOL!

Dog- of course it is KY! The forever dog who loves seafood instead of loving meat... She dislikes sweet stuff which resulted in possible change of plan... She's not into Western food, so she is a Traditional dog...

Crazy Rabbit- Fang, she wants to be named as this... She refused to be the shepherd. This rabbit loves seafood, especially prawns... She is the one who supports me in going according to my wishes since i am the organiser...

OK! NOW LET'S GET TO BUSINESS...
Ky was telling me just now that she have objections about going hotpot culture. As she is not into the chocolate fondue and finds it expensive. To me, i think it is cheap... Personal steamboat with 5 broths and 40 steamboat items to choose from. Further more, there are 40 dishes to choose from, free flow... Then there are fruits, ice cream and chocolate fondue. All these going for only 19.80+, what more can you ask for? I find it so much cheaper than the blood sucking Seoul Garden where i only find the brownies and ice cream to my favour... Everytime i passed by a Seoul Garden there is a smell on top of the burnt smell which discouraged me to go into another after i experienced it once... Yucks! Well, i guess i the only one who hates Seoul Garden in the whole wide world...

So i was thinking since we never had a proper traditional dish, shall we go Crystal Jade... Everything seems confirmed and i told another member... Great, she finds it expensive, i am not sure as i have never been to one. She said HK Cafe was better...

So i told crazy rabbit that i once told myself and my mum subsequently at the very start, that i will not allow anyone to change my plan as i am the organiser... And after an long and painful experience of asking "what do you want to have?" which always leads to a forever no conclusion situation, and vividly remembering, i ended up with none other than a gastric,which resulted in pain in the stomach (all that harm to my GI tract) and emo me eating lesser than usual... I have decided that next time if i do plan a gathering, there shall be no changes to anything which i plan!

And what do you see now? A contradicting situation! A contradicting woman! A contradicting cat! I can fulfil one's wishes but i cannot fulfil everyone's wishes... So i shall fulfil my own wishes... Of course, i have the privileges as i am the organiser, ain't i?

This is a sad and frustating situation, but i didn't plan for it or forsee it beforehand... But what can i do? No one voice out any objections before this. And i am already in the midst of planning... What do you want? Another round of change or another round of voting, which i guess will lead to anything. Or even best, another round of "go there and decide later situation"?

NO!

Well, you can said i am biased towards my feelings and my preferences. But i do have the priveliges right?

Hi! The contradicting woman here who said that she will never organise any more outing has indeed broke her promise once again... In fact, it is not the 1st time she broke her promise. And i said that if i broke my promise, jas aka meh meh can chop off my head and sit on my head. She can sit twice on my head le...

Anyways, i am here to tell you about the outing that i will be organising. I was thinking, we had never watch movie together and thus would like to have a change. And also because since py and ky do not go k box. So i suggested a movie.

Not really sure, but judging from the mindset i have now, i will ask for a breakup. What the point of facing the person when you not longer trust the person anymore? But, well, people do change their mindset at different phase of their life...

Hmm, to be a singer? Do things that is related to music? LOL! Having dreams is good, i guess...

I feel that this is something really personal. Getting married should be something happy, if in the end, you have to hold a wedding dinner and go to every table, drink with them, smile, take pictures, isn't it too much of a torture? I guess, my wedding do not have to be a big thing, just between family and close friends... A cosy and nice wedding... Having a tea or dinner with people whom i like and love.

Some place where really makes me feel at home. Simple, comfortable, cosy, so not have to be big. But i hope that my house is a place where i can see the night view, star-gazing! =)

Loving someone is more blessed, but when you love someone, you hope the person to love you as much as you love him. But it is hard. Some will feel like being love is more blessed. There is always someone whom may be giving more to the relationship. But it really depends on how one looked at it, there is always 2 sides to a coin. Perhaps, I will know the answer if I am in a relationship next time.

Waiting for someone is not an easy thing and it really is hard to wait for someone whom maybe you are not able to meet when you are waiting. Maybe not more than 5 years?

My house de door was opened by this thail worker on sat ! Coz the door was not locked as my mum and i were about to go out but of coz is only my mum who is ready lah . Funny part is if he opened the wrong house right shouldnt he have opened the gate before opening the door ? Anyway , i have no idea wat's he doing lah . And after that he purposely left a handphone with no sim card in a plastic outside my house and that point of time no one was at home till my dad reached home . Sounds weird and suspicious ... Muz be wondering wad's so special abt this milk tea? The zhen zhu they sell is mini de~ hmm.. mayb is not obvious in the pic.. have u all tried b4?

Today went toa payoh wif family.. is soooooo hot lorr.. is the feeling like trapping in a oven ! It was till the evening i went to buy a bubble tea n share wif bro... well.. saw this KOI cafe, tot of giving a try... it was expensive too. cost $2.40 for a little cup.. when the lady ask me wan big or small zhen zhu? i was quite shock.. haha.. dunno can choose size de.. so i juz say small den..

Those zhen zhu is mini n soft... kinda like to chew it. (well.. hardly need to chew...) juz glup it.

anyway... take care everyone! weather no good, so drink more water!!!!!

Been drawing diagrams on paint these few days. I am starting to get so pro with paint... LOL!

Basically,this is the osteons, bone cell that is being dissected in the transverse way... No idea what is transverse?
And do you know why you will feel pain when there is bone cracks and stuff? It is due to the Haversian Canal, as in the Haversian Canal lies the blood vessels and the nerves.

This shows the 3 ways of dissection of human body. Of course, i didn't draw this.

This is the Perphehral Nervous System (PNS) and Central Nervous System (CNS). Like how signals are transformed to the receptor and then to the brain and spinal cord and back to the effector where your muscle and glands will react accordingly. I drew this with paint and added the arrows in MS Powerpoint. My team mates said this looked nice. I drew for a long time... This was found in the textbook which my team mate borrowed and there is no scanner, camera can't seems to take it, Google cannot find so draw lor. I rather use pencil and ruler to draw lor...

Didn't took art, hated drawing and now i am using paint to draw...

There is something i want to remind all of you. Never damage your nerve tissues/cells. If you do spoil then, it is disastrous. As they are not productive, they will not regrow, but it depend on the degree of damage. If it is too serious, your nerve tissue will be affected and will not regrow. This is when you all have slow reaction towards things. For example, like instantly, people get the signal to move your hand away from the hot flame. But for those who already have damaged nerve tissues, maybe you will only sense the move away from hot flame reaction after you have burn many layers of your epithelial tissues(tissues on your skin). So this is not a good thing.

I wanted to share about the different anatomical position terms, but i guess you all won't be interested in it...

I've been busying in studies but actually at the same time finished a hong kong show series. LOL.

Hmmm.. long time nv update much.. so here i come.. hohohoh..

I enjoyed my IS module of psychology. been taking it for the 2nd year... Think of sharing it with u all....

Have u all heard before eye movements of a person can tell what one's thinking?

The chart below basically explains eye movement.

if a person eyeball at that time is...

Right side upwards: recalling visual memories etc.. eg: recalling unfavorable memories

Left side upwards: constructing visual image in brain etc.. eg: Imagine u r in a situation

Right side center: Recalling audio eg: trying to rmb a song rhythm

Left side center: Constructing audio

For the bottom eye movements is not really that accurate i think.. well.. mayb..sometimes la..if a you recall some memories regarding more of ur own feelings or trying to talk to yourself, u may tend to look downwards.

Personally, i think that the construct and recall eye movements can be quite accurate.. that is construct and recall is of eye movement of different side

* if u r a left hander , right and left will be opposite way round.
* this test can be use to see whether one is lying or not. As constructing vs Recalling eye movements r usually opposite.
* this is only in general, of cuz it may not be accurate.
* Also have to depends whether u r more of visual, audio or kinesthetic or Auditory digital person.

i took the personality test from sch, and i am more of auditory digital and visual, that means internal self talk person. LOL. means i understand concept or things better by figure out by myself and aid by visual image.. I think u all more or less know what type u belong to?

hahs. the eye movements theory is juz to share wif u all..
once again, it really varies from ppl to ppl.. so don come to me n complain it is not accurate~ or mayb u think is juz crap up de.. oh well.. .. hahas =D

Well, i guess none of you know that i had such a habit... I like to find nice vector wallpapers from deviantart and then add on a calendar of which ever month i like to it... Just found out i am running short of them, i only had one more for June. And i really love this wallpaper and add on July calendar.

I guess you all can dl it bah... Sharing this with you all for the month of July, since we set July as the month which we started ah ma family. Furthermore, the wallpaper is in blue, and blue is sort of like the representing colour for ah ma family. So treat it as a small contribution from me bah... LOL! Although it is nothing much... (A bit too early hor!) Hope you all like it...

Congrates! This is 50th post. We finally made it... Actually, i was hoping everyone can write something for our 50th post... So do feel free to "edit post" and add on whatever you want to say on this post! I am perfectly alright with this... With the help of everyone, let's make this a long post! LOL!

Well, i finish my 2 UTs for this week. Argh! This UT (A221 module) is much tougher than yesterday's... Somehow things about another module, A222(the one tested yesterday) about the 4 bases of DNA came out... And i was so stunned... A221 was so far all about bacteria and A222 did not talk about how the triple and double strands affect the growth of thermophiles(bacteria who have a liking of high temperatures) and psychrophiles(bacteria who have a liking of cold temperatures)... The whole class was stunned also... So any how type lor, but has got to do with the triple and double strands of DNA...

Ok, i am talking alien language!

Hey! Our blog seems really dead! Ain't anyone going to update anything? Anyway, here to post something. Actually, i guess many of you have the same thought as me, we have nothing to post... Besides, i have my personal blog too...

Well, I guess many of you are busy with school work and fyp or attachment that will be upcoming really soon for some of you...

While i am still slacking my days through... LOL! I think even when i am in year 3 i will still have time to slack, afterall, you know RP lah... But i still have to wor hard for UT, that is one thing and i will be doing so after this post... Wish me luck... (So weird to be asking people to wish me luck! O.o)

Anyways, i have a suggestion, i wonder if you all know about it... Some of you may know about it, while some do not. I seen on tv about this hotpot culture and i find that it is rather worthwhile. (For more information, do read my blog, i have a link there.) So i was thinking we can have our next dinner gathering there... What do you all think? I did thought of sakura, but i find it rather exp. Anyway, there is always a chance of going for both... Besides, this is not the time to go so in depth talking about the gathering. None of you have the mood and time to think of this, i guess...

Also, who knows if we all can make it for a gathering for the upcoming June holidays or the Sep holidays... My June holidays starts a week earlier as i started school a week ahead of you all... And my Sep holidays is only 3 weeks, much shorter than you all de... And ah ma don't have that holiday... So i guess it will be rather hard for a gathering on the upcoming 2 holidays.

Btw, we don't seems to have code for our older post, so it is not very convenient... I try to find the code and add it in...

p.s.: I found it but when i added it in, it looks damn weird... Nvm, will try again when i have the time...
